2023 has been an interesting season to navigate in the Green Industry—be it weather, economy, or general uncertainty of the future. The good news is there are things in our control if action is taken now!

The Colorado Horticulture Research and Education Foundation (CHREF) plays an integral role in encouraging and rewarding top-performing students at Colorado State University (CSU) and Front Range Community College through scholarships and contributes to much-needed research being conducted at CSU. Not only do contributions help support the future leaders of the industry, but they are responsible for and support the most up-to-date science and best practices for our industry.

We urge you to invest in your future and the future of the Colorado horticulture industry.

On behalf of CHREF’s Board of Directors, we thank you for your support and we look forward to continuing our work for the industry.

The board wants to hear from you. Do you have a great idea for research that would benefit your business or the industry in general? What kind of research would you like to see from CSU in the future? The CHREF board has the opportunity to propose new research at its annual meeting in December. Please reach out with any recommendations or comments to info@coloradonga.org. Be on the lookout for the new CHREF website coming soon!
