We hope your season is off to a great start!

It was a record year at the Industry Celebration held at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Thanks to all who attended, participated and donated. Special thanks to the Spahn family and The Tree Farm who won the Gus the Gnome auction at a best-ever bid of $6,200. In total, over $9,000 was raised for the foundation.

The CHREF golf fundraiser will be held at Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton on Tuesday, September 19th. Registration is now open for players and sponsorships. Please visit the CNGA website for more information. Remember – you are welcome to attend and not golf!

In addition to the Industry Celebration and the golf tournament, CHREF is working to add another fundraising event to the docket in support of its new initiatives as well as addressing the future health of research and education in Colorado. The goal is that this event will pull a wider audience than the Golf tournament, and offer something for everyone in the industry. Stay tuned for more information on the new event. The Board of Directors is committed to creating a tangible return for its donors and members by increasing the number of students in horticulture programs across the state, and in turn elevating and elevating the talent pool of graduates that members can hire from. It is also committed to funding practical and cutting-edge research to again put Colorado State University on the map as one of the premier horticulture institutions in the nation.
