In these unprecedented times, it can be difficult to think about the next couple months, not to mention years ahead. Still, we can’t forget about the next generation of nursery and greenhouse professionals that will soon be entering our industry and businesses. These students are also experiencing hard times – let’s show them that their future industry cares and that they too are essential.

The CHREF Board of Directors met in mid-December to listen to current research updates and evaluate future projects. The board will also be discussing a sizeable donation to the Colorado State University (CSU) Department of Horticulture for the new agriculture building, expected to be completed by spring of 2022. The board will be interviewing CSU scholarship candidates in late January or early February.
